Liberty Oil Mills Limited is the flagship company of the Liberty Group, founded in 1953. We are one of India’s largest importers and refiners of edible oils and fats, having an integrated presence across the entire value chain. We have a network of port-based refineries, processing facilities and packing units which are capable of handling over 1 million metric tonnes of edible oils annually.

Our flagship refinery – the Shahapur Refining Complex in Thane, Maharashtra is a state-of-the-art facility, amongst the largest and most advanced in India. Here, we process a variety of edible oils through chemical and physical refining, and cold pressing. The oils included in our supply chain include sunflower, palm, soybean, rice bran, groundnut, cottonseed, mustard, canola, coconut, palm kernel and sesame.

Liberty Oil Mills is also a market leader in Solvent Extraction. Through expelling of seeds, we extract oil which is further refined. We also produce de-oiled cakes and other by-products which are used as animal feed. Our company further specialises in manufacturing edible fats such as vanaspati, bakery fats and other specialty fats at our manufacturing facilities in India.
